2 If you already have a Noom account outside of CareFirst, you can convert your personal account to a CareFirst-sponsored account by following the Noom registration/enrollment process through CareFirst WellBeingSM using the same email address as your personal Noom account. The registration will prompt additional screens asking if you want to transition your personal account to a CareFirst account. If you agree, your personal account will be converted.
3 Noom Med blood tests collect the following information: comprehensive metabolic panel, A1c, thyroid stimulating hormone, lipid panel. If you have had blood work within the past six months, you may upload this information via the app instead. If not, you will be presented with the option to schedule blood work at a nearby Quest or Labcorp (the Noom Med provider will provide the member with a lab slip).
4 The cost of blood work is covered by the program. Due to state regulations in New Jersey, New York and Rhode Island, members should confirm their insurance information with the lab prior to completing their lab work. Members residing in these states will receive a lab order from their Noom clinician indicating “bill to insurance.”
Noom Med is administered by Noom, Inc., independent company that provide health improvement management services to CareFirst members.
