As an active member of our community, CareFirst funds certain opportunities related to event sponsorships and memberships with business/civic organizations. This represents the smallest portion of our budget.

Program support that targets a diverse population and/or addresses a top health care issue, and that has a specific measurement for success.

Support for programs and other initiatives that stimulate productive change and improvements in the health care system over the long term.

Support for government programs that provide access for large vulnerable populations — those unable to otherwise receive health care services, or have only limited access to those services.
