All State of Maryland BlueChoice Vision and PPO policy holders will receive new member ID cards that include their new policy number. Members should discard all previous ID cards and begin using the new cards, effective July 1, 2008.
Although there are no benefit changes to your coverage under either plan, please take note of the ID card changes:
PPO Policy Holders
All family members are now covered under the same new policy number, so one card covers the entire family.
BlueChoice Vision Policy Holders
All members should continue to use their current medical identification cards. New vision identification cards were mailed to policy holders which included a new policy number.

If you need to check who is covered under your policy, please log into My Account or call the customer service number listed on the back of your ID card.
