Revised rate for E0784 - Insulin Pump
On September 30, 2008, CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield (CareFirst) providers received a letter indicating that the rate for E0784 would be $3,600 effective 12/31/08. This rate change did go into effect for the period 12/31/08-1/14/09; however we have re-evaluated the allowance for this code and decided to increase the rate to $4,200 effective 1/15/09. Beginning with dates of service of 1/15/09, CareFirst will reimburse E0784 at $4,200. If you have any questions, please contact your provider representative. |
