Electronic claims may be submitted to CareFirst and CareFirst BlueChoice through one of our preferred vendors or by using your current billing agent, vendor or clearinghouse.
Electronic claim submission requires separate enrollments for our Maryland and National Capital Area (NCA) products. You will need your assigned provider ID number for Maryland and/or NCA and the appropriate payer code, which is provided by your vendor/clearinghouse.
If your office does not currently work with an electronic vendor or clearinghouse, please contact one of our preferred vendors.
