Introduction to the Maryland Point of Service Webinar
Welcome to our new web-based seminar offering!
Many of you have attended and participated in our provider education programs and training seminars, including the popular Back to Basics, Update Me, Hospital Quarterly, and CareFirst Direct hands-on classroom sessions.
Our goal at CareFirst and CareFirst BlueChoice is to provide you with more convenient and accessible training opportunities.
We've transitioned the Maryland Point of Service training seminar to an alternate delivery format known as a 'webinar' - a term derived from a combination of the words 'web' and 'seminar.' A webinar is an online training session conducted by an expert instructor, who speaks over a standard telephone to an audience of remote listeners who have dialed in on a conference line and are all looking at the same information on the internet.
The Maryland Point of Service webinar in this online module has been recorded from a previously conducted webinar session.
