These self-paced tutorials are designed to educate you about our policies and procedures related to OB/GYN care. For your convenience this module is divided into two tutorials.
Tutorial 1 provides information on the following topics:
- Medical Policies and Operating Procedures
- Services that are included in routine obstetrical care
- Services that are not included in routine obstetrical care
- Billing recommendations
Tutorial 2 is designed to help you recognize:
- Global surgical periods
- Billing guidelines for nurse midwives, surgical assistants and contraceptive services
- The Great Beginnings program and home assessments
- Ways to obtain service
The tutorials should take about 15 minutes each to complete. If you need to attend to other matters you can stop at any time and come back later.
