Amphetamine Salt Combo 20mg Tablets Recalled

Barr Laboratories, Inc. issued a voluntary recall of Amphetamine Salt Combo 20mg Tablets used to treat ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) and Narcolepsy which is a combination of the following ingredients:

  • Dextroamphetamine Saccharate
  • Amphetamine Aspartate
  • Dextroamphetamine Sulfate
  • Amphetamine Sulfate

The recalled product comes in 100 count bottles with the lot number 311756.

The product is being recalled because the affected lot may contain some tablets exceeding weight requirements, which may lead to super-potent tablets and side of effects including cardiovascular, neurologic, psychiatric and gastrointestinal reactions.

Patients who have this lot in their possession are instructed to immediately stop using the product and return it to their pharmacy/distributor.
