LifeScan OneTouch® Ultra® Test Strips Illegally Relabeled & Packaged
Source: LifeScan Inc, a Johnson & Johnson Company LifeScan Inc., manufacturers of OneTouch® Ultra® Test Strips vials and cartons, has issued a product alert regarding the possibility of illegal relabeling, repackaging and reselling of this product by a third party. These test strips are used for people with diabetes to check their blood sugar/glucose. LifeScan cannot guarantee the quality, accuracy, and reliability of blood glucose results if the packaging has been tampered with in any way. If you purchased this product directly from LifeScan or a LifeScan distributor, you are not affected. LifeScan has notified the FDA and pharmacies/distributors.
