ESRD training. Council members from dialysis facilities introduced multiple concerns from counterpart facilities. Group agreed an ESRD workshop was needed and Medicare would plan the training session. |
ESRD specific workshop was planned by Provider Relations to address concerns from the council. Workshop was successfully held on February 28, 2002 at the Medicare location. This workshop will be part of the regular curriculum and is scheduled to be held again later in the year. |

Issue resolved through conference call held on 2/28 with CMS, Medicare and Medicaid. Revenue codes that can be billed on the 12X TOB were identified and sent in writing to Alan Shugart, manual procedures are being put in place for Medicaid to handle revenue codes other than those identified. |
