| The Maryland Insurance Administration has issued a report confirming that CareFirst’s capital reserves levels are neither unreasonably large nor excessive.

The Maryland Insurance Administration's report confirms that our reserve levels are neither unreasonably large nor excessive. It lays out a process and structure that assures that they remain so. We believe that the report presents a sound analysis that is consistent with our own internal policy on this matter and with the advice we have received from leading outside actuarial firms.
