In 2008, over 550 people attended CareFirst’s monthly wellness presentations! We would like to thank all of those who participated; your feedback has helped our Health Promotion Specialists prepare for our 2009 Wellness WebEx series.
At CareFirst, we know that times are tough for companies of all sizes. Everyone is looking for new ways to be more effective and efficient. Starting a worksite wellness program may be low on your priority list. However, it’s times like these that companies should be concentrating on wellness programs to improve morale and lower health care costs.
Our January WebEx will review the essential building blocks for developing your wellness strategy. A CareFirst Health Promotion Specialist will discuss wellness committees, management support, mission statements, and strategic plans. You only get to plan your wellness strategy the first time ONCE, so we want to make sure you plan effectively for future success.
