October 30 Wellness WebEx Presentation - Move It! Physical Activity Programs for Your Employees

We know that when it comes to health care, you probably have similar goals as ours – to keep costs low and your employees as healthy as possible. As you may know, CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield holds monthly WebEx presentations on health promotion and wellness.

The October WebEx will help you organize workplace physical activity and fitness programs.  Whether it’s a simple one-day walking event or a 6-month long competition between departments, companies of all sizes can get involved and this WebEx will help you get started.

Attend the October WebEx and take away the following:

• A definition of physical activity for healthy adults along with some astonishing facts around the costs of inactivity,
• An example of a business case for a physical activity program with a cost-benefit analysis,
• Resources for planning onsite fitness programs,
• Ideas for engaging employees to boost participation, and
• External resources for support.
