System Requirements
Many of the functions in CareFirst SFT transfer substantial amounts of information over the Internet. The performance will depend on the speed of your Internet connection. A cable modem, DSL, or other high-speed connection to the Internet is recommended. Low-speed modems (24.4 or less) may not provide satisfactory performance. The following software and hardware configurations are recommended.
Operating System
- Microsfot Windows: 95, 98, 2000, XP, ME or NT 4.0
Browser
- Microsfot Internet Explorer V5.5 or higher; 6.0 is recommended
- Netscape V7.1 or higher
Hardware
- Pentium II/550 Megahertz or higher
- 123 MB of RAM, minimum
- Modem or other connection to the Internet
Monitor Settings
- Page Size: 800 x 600 or higher
- Colors: 16 bit
